Covid19 and Higher Education: A Degree Course Recommender System Based on Personality Using Rule-Based

As a result of the pandemic Covid19 and enforcement Movement Control Order (MCO) in Malaysia, it is difficult for Ministry Education to explain selection courses at university. Current systems such as "Selangkah ke UiTM," "eSemak Politeknik" "EduAdvisor" concentrate only on SPM graduates. result, this study proposes recommendation system that can provide recommendations course suit students' personalities. Diploma Computer Science students from Faculty Mathematical (FSKM) UiTM Melaka are selected case study. This uses rule-based approach took psychometric test results: "Inventori Minat Kerjaya" mapped traits needed five offered faculty help determine most appropriate course. prototype consists 170 questions, results top 3 IMK personalities chosen be offered. Usability accuracy testing has been carried out an average rate 77.5%, 66.7%.
